Ontario's Progressive Skydiving Facility

Over the past 11 years we have been providing experienced jumpers with a safe, exciting and progressive skydiving centre with the focus on advancing personal skills and creating events to push the boundaries of provincial and national records.

Since the spring of 2000, Skydive Burnaby has hosted nearly all of Canada’s Large Formation Skydiving record attempts and we currently hold the records for

• Canadian National Large Formation Record
• 'Team Pink' - Women's Large Formation Record

We are the proud home of Canada’s first full time Twin Otter and are the hosts of numerous major annual events such as the Canadian National Skydiving Championships, the Summer Daze Burnaby Boogie, POPS (Parachutists Over Phorty) record events and 'Big-Way' formation skydiving record attempts.

Skydive Burnaby aims to continuously improve our process and our facilities, priding ourselves in maintaining a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in order to make our customers visits truly enjoyable.

We strive to make each season challenging for beginners, intermediate and advanced skydivers and there are many events throughout the summer, on and off the drop zone, for everyone to enjoy.

Aircraft and Airlift

We have been supplying quality airlift to experienced jumpers for over a decade now. By combining the power and beauty of a De Havilland Super Twin Otter and the usability of a classic Cessna 182, Skydive Burnaby can get you to whichever altitude you need, whenever you want to get there.

If you're planning on a 'Hop-N-Pop' to practice your landings or you need to get some extra altitude for a large formation skydive, our planes are very well maintained and loaded with all of the necessary extras.

Cessna 182

• Certified for four jumpers.
• Smooth and efficient climb rate.
• Wing extensions for added stability and speed.
• Seat belts for all jumpers on board.

300 Series Super Twin Otter

• Rated for 22 jumpers.
• Oxygen system for those 'extra altitude' requirements.
• Spacious and comfortable ride to altitude.
• 14 minutes to 14 000 feet.

The Swoop Zone

If you think that the most important part of your skydive happens during the final 30 seconds then come and try your skills across 'Lake Burnaby' - Canada’s only professionally designed swoop pond.

Designed and built from the ground up down using recommendations from the FAI Canopy Piloting course requirements and World Champion canopy pilots.

Skydiver Recurrency Training

We all know that the only constant in life is change. People change. Times change. So if life has changed for you but its time to get back in the sky again, let Skydive Burnaby get you there safely and intelligently.

Our professional staff and instructors understand that recurrency training is as important to an experienced jumper as first jump training is to a student.

Let us get you back jumping again with current training methods and modern equipment.

Whether you have been away for 6 months or 6 years we can develop a training program best suited to compliment your experience level and skills. After an evaluation of what you knew, we introduce what you now need to know.

Training methods, equipment type and safety standards have all progressed over the years so for your reintroduction to the sport, be patient and allow the instructors to bring you up to date with the changes in skydiving technology and methods.

Skydive Burnaby is interested in getting you back in the sky and jumping safely so you can re-live those feelings and become a skydiver again.

Skydiver and Aircraft Pilot Rigging Services

Skydive Burnaby has a full service rigging loft so if you are in need of a reserve repack, system assembly or equipment repair we are capable of almost everything rigging related.

• Pilot Emergency Parachute repack services.
• Experienced FAA certified riggers.
• Rush repacks and repairs available with an additional fee.
• Jumpsuit modifications and repairs.
• Custom services available by request.
