Skydive Burnaby is very excited to announce that we have been chosen to host the Eastern Conference Cup.

This is an "off year" competition that will not have all disciplines hosted due to the short period of time that this event is held in and the amount of judges that are involved.

This event will take place during the same weekend that the Western Cup is taking place, so this could end up being some great fun while keeping track of both events and competitors.

Date: Friday August 1st until Monday August 4th 2008.

Skydive Burnaby will be accommodating the competitors with practice jumps starting on Wednesday July 30 and will commence on the evening of Thursday July 31st 2008. Full staff will be available as well as aircraft, Cessna 182 and the Super Otter.

Registration Opens: Wednesday July 30 at 9:00am and close on Friday August 1 at 10:00am.

Registration Fee: Eastern Conference registration will be fixed at $95 per competitor

Skydive Burnaby airport is located in Wainfleet, On., beautifully positioned between Lake Erie & Lake Ontario that offers breath-taking views for every jump. About 1.5 hours from Toronto and about 40 minutes from Niagara Falls. Facilities that will be offered to the competitors and their guests is a indoor rigging loft with 3 full time riggers on site, fully equipped with 8 sewing machines for minor and extensive repair work. Large indoor and outdoor creeping areas, as well as indoor and outdoor creeping areas.Outdoor patio and clubhouse with nightly entertainment. Men & Women' s separate washroom facilities equipped with flushing toilets and hot showers. Don't worry if you forget anything from home just check out our "goodies" basket both in the men's and women's washrooms.

Plenty of shopping, movie theaters and the Niagara Falls Tourism equipped with 2 casino's located near by.

On site for everyone's relief and relaxation will be a Registered Massage Therapist. There will be an on-site food facility for breakfast, lunch and a small variety for dinner. There are also several restaurants located within a 10km from the DZ.

Camping will be offered for free, there are NO HOOK UPS available unfortunately. Other options for competitors/guests are several motels located 5-8 km from the DZ.

Competitors will have available to them a Super Otter along with a Cessna 182.Fun jumpers are very much welcome to come out and take advantage for jumps during practice time as well.

There is a total of 4 judges including the Chief Judge on the panel, who are not known at this time, soon to be updated.

Level II Disciplines:
4 Way CF Sequential
2 Way CF
Team Accuracy

Due to the shortage of time for the Eastern Conference, if all Level I disciplines are completed and there is interest and time available for any of the Level II disciplines they will be hosted as well.

The Eastern Conference Banquet and the awards ceremony will be held on the evening of Sunday August 3rd 2008 at Skydive Burnaby. The registration fee will include the banquet ticket for the competitors and for non competitors and their guests they will be charged $20 for the banquet ticket.
